On July 20, nationwide labor-led protests in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, had around 100 cars participating in the Sacramento area.

The caravan started at the SEIU 2015 office in West Sacramento, driving by the Matsui Federal Court building, Sacramento City Hall and ending at the California State Capitol where demonstrators took a knee.

C.T. Weber, a Sacramento Central Labor Council delegate and Peace and Freedom Party Legislative Committee chair, is shown getting into his car at the start of the car caravan.
