Peter Mathews, sponsor of the a ballot measure to tax oil extraction, will speak on "The Oil Industry and California's Fiscal Crisis" on June 25 in San Jose. The Peace and Freedom Party supports this initiative and is helping collect signatures to put it on the ballot.

Please join us at 7pm on the evening of Saturday, July 30, 2011, for an informal discussion of plans of numerous electoral and political groups for participation in the 2012 election cycle. This discussion is hosted by the Peace and Freedom Party of California.
We will meet at the Neibyl-Proctor Library, 6501 Telegraph Ave., Oakland, California 94609, just north of Alcatraz Ave. No formal votes will be taken at this event. Participants may decide at a later date whether to join the NOC coalition.
