Frida (2002, Salma Hayek, Alfred Molina)
Based on the life of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (married to another artist – Diego Rivera). More personal than political, Kahlo was a communist sympathizer and supporter (and perhaps lover) of Leon Trotsky. Hayek lends an excellent portrayal.
