Rallies in Sacramento and Los Angeles on April 28, Workers Memorial Day, evoke the memory of workers killed on the job and demand justice for injured workers who have been defrauded by their employers and the state. In Sacramento the rally was planned for 11 am to 2 pm on the State Capitol south steps. The Los Angeles rally was planned as an automotive "funeral procession" starting and ending at the UCLA Downtown Labor Center at 675 S. Park View Street, with the event starting at 12 noon and ending at 3 pm.
