Resolution in Support of FMPR

Whereas, the victory of the Puerto Rican FMPR in their struggle against the union busting raid by the SEIU international is a victory for all workers and,

Whereas, the lessons of this struggle are important to all US and California workers on the history of the FMPR and the role of US unions in colonizing Puerto Rico and,

Whereas, on December 4, 2008, Pedro Angel Rivera will be making a report on this struggle, victory and lessons for the Puerto Rican and US working class,

Therefore be it resolved the California P&F will endorse and support this solidarity meeting in San Francisco.
