The California Peace and Freedom Party stands in solidarity with the recent action of the Associated Students of the University of California at Davis (ASUCD) advocating divestment from companies profiting from the Israeli occupation of and settlements in Palestine.

On January 22, The ASUCD Senate adopted a resolution "urging the Board of Regents of the University of California (UC Regents) to undertake practices of corporate social responsibility through divesting from corporations that aid in the Israeli occupation of Palestine and illegal settlements in Palestinian territories, violating both international humanitarian law and international human rights". The full text of the resolution is available at asucd.ucdavis.edu.

As part of a global campaign opposing the occupation, divestment resolutions have been passed on several other University of California campuses and by the system wide University of California Students Association (UCSA). This is especially remarkable in the light of efforts by opponents to have the resolutions invalidated on the grounds that they are not the proper business of student governments.

On August 10, 2014, during a time of intensive Israeli military operations, the State Central Committee of the California Peace and Freedom Party adopted the following statement:

The State Central Committee of the Peace and Freedom Party pledges to support the efforts of Palestinians, other countries and the United Nations to prosecute both Israeli and U.S. war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity.

The Peace and Freedom Party also affirms its support of BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) against companies and agencies involved in the occupation and the illegal settlements.

Finally, the Peace and Freedom Party calls for an end to U.S. military aid to Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and all other violators of human rights that we are currently arming.
