OBAMANCHOLIA – Peace and Freedom Party Discussion Group Evening

What has happened in the over a year and a half of "change we can believe in"? Today unemployment is higher than when President Obama declared the Great Recession over and there are far more troops in foreign combat under Obama and the "end of the war in Iraq" than under former President Bush. Where do we go from "Obama will fix it"?

If you are interested in an evening of friendly political discussion with the Marin Peace and Freedom Party, please RSVP to using this contact form or call 415-413-0878, read this short article titled "Obamancholia" by WBAI/KPFA commentator Doug Henwood, and come to share your thoughts.

October 6, Wednesday, 7:30-9:00 pm, Corte Madera

We will send you directions to where the meeting will be held in Corte Madera after we have heard back from you. Please feel free to invite friends, but let us know in advance how many and who will be coming so that we can be sure to have enough seats. At the end of the evening, we will take about 15 minutes to reflect on the discussion and collectively consider whether this should be a one-time-only meeting or whether there is interest in continuing the discussion.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
