On Saturday, September 3, the Alameda County Peace and Freedom Party and Movement presents "A World To Win: The Labor Movement Today". Confirmed speakers include:
- Steve Early, author of a new book on Richmond: Refinery Town: Big Oil, Big Money, and the Reclaiming of an American City (forthcoming Jan 2017), speaking for Labor for Bernie
- Roger Wilkins, Teamsters Local 315, speaking on Teamsters at the Crossroads
- Alborz Ghandehari, UAW Local 2865, representing Universityi of California graduate student workers, speaking on the union’s involvement in the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) campaign
- Tova Fry, Workers World Party, speaking on the victorious two-year struggle of the Boston School Bus Union
