While The Peace and Freedom Party has endorsed Cindy Sheehan's congressional campaign against the Speaker of the House, Democrat Nancy Pelosi.

After her son, Casey, was killed in Iraq, Sheehan began a relentless campaign against both the war and the Bush administration. When Pelosi and her corporate-controlled Democratic allies continued to support the war while refusing to hold the Bush administration accountable for its crimes, Sheehan decided it was time to step up - yet again. She is an independent candidate in San Francisco's 8th District, with endorsements from both the Peace and Freedom Party and the Green Party.

Her campaign needs all the help it can get, as her opponent has access to limitless funds, both personal and from wealthy supporters. Lots of money can be beaten by lots of dedicated work, and a lot of people are dedicated to Cindy Sheehan's campaign.
